REFURBISHED ST. MICHAEL SCHOOL

These photos were taken on October 14, 2018. They show the newly refurbished St. Mike's, now known as the Center For Hope. The 1953 portion of the building has been retained along with the gym and cafeteria.

ATWOOD STADIUM

For those who remember those Sunday afternoon football games at Atwood Stadium, here are some photos of the current field. Atwood is now owned by Kettering University (GM Tech in our day) and is really looks spectacular.

ST. MICHAEL SCHOOL TO BE DEMOLISHED

Word has come that the former St. Michael school building is being demolished. The 1927 portion of the building will be no more, but the 1953 portion will be retained to The Center for Hope. Below is the news release. You can also download a PDF. 

 

Fortunately, many of us were able to tour the school during our class reunion. See the photos below.

TOUR OF ST. MICHAEL SCHOOL

Several classmates enjoyed a tour of St. Michael School prior to the reunion. The building is now operated by Catholic Charities.
